Jesus was a missionary sent from Heaven to rescue the nations of the earth for all time (Isaiah 61:1-3).

We believe that every Christian has been created in Christ to follow His example.  Each of us are "sent ones" to our family, our community, our nations and the earth (Acts 1:8).  We believe that each Christ-follower bears the responsibility of evangelism and meeting the urgent needs of our neighbors wherever they may live (Matthew 25:31-46, Luke 10:25-37).

Along with consistent monthly support for missions and outreach, we strongly encourage participation in short-term missions.  God rarely captures a heart as uniquely and totally as during a short-term mission trip.

It's on these precious trips that Christ-followers' hearts, confronted with the desperate need of the foreign church and the unreached, are dramatically moved toward the deeper purposes of God and the gracious stewardship (Luke 12:15-32) each American believer has had placed in their hands.

International Missions

Homes For The Homeless - Mission To Mexico

Every October Agape sends out 2 teams for one week to Mexico along the Texas/Mexico border. The teams, in cooperation with Strategic Alliance, build 2 small homes for needy families in these impoverished border communities.

These teams have the beautiful privilege of presenting keys of a tiny new home they’ve built to the grateful and eager family.

Agape purchases all the materials for construction and fuel for travel.

If you are interested in participating in our home-building missions to Mexico, to help fundraise or to make a donation please contact us for more information.

Christmas in a Shoebox - Mexico Mission to Children

Each holiday season Agape rally’s together and prepares several hundred shoeboxes. Our church members purchase items and stuff each shoe box with toys, toothbrushes, flip-flops, activity books and school supplies to make sure every child in the impoverished border towns of Mexico receives something special for Christmas.

Agape has this privilege due to our cooperation with Strategic Alliance.

Agape provides and packs the large boxes for shipping. Agape also pays for shipping, however this has never been necessary due to the generosity of Forward Air Inc. who has shipped them for free each year. Thank you Forward Air!

If you are interested in participating in our Christmas in a Shoebox missions to Mexico, to help fundraise or to make a donation please contact us for more information.
